TOLEDO
Toledo is an ancient city set on a hill above the plains of Castilla-La Mancha in central Spain, 70 km south of Madrid and it was the capital of Spain until 1561. Toledo's historic centre was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986. Its rocky site is traversed by narrow, winding streets, with steep gradients and rough surfaces, centring on the Plaza del Zocodover.
Our Toledo bag was inspired by the city's fascinating history and of course by The Alcázar of Toledo, a symbolic stone quadrangular building located in the highest part of the city. Built in the 3rd century and initially used as a Roman Palace, the Alcázar has played one of the most important roles in the history of Spain.
